Position Overview:

The Fixed Equipment Reliability/Mechanical Integrity Engineer plays a crucial role within the reliability division, focusing on enhancing the condition of fixed assets at TPC Group's operational sites.

We are looking for professionals dedicated to advancing fixed equipment systems, ensuring adherence to mechanical integrity standards, promoting collaboration, and maintaining a secure work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
Deliver essential technical assistance to Maintenance, Operations, and Project teams.

Offer expertise in the fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring rigorous quality assurance and quality control, including after-hours support.

Design and monitor both code-compliant and non-code repairs, conduct corrosion assessments of production units, and develop mitigation strategies for areas with significant corrosion risks.

Translate corrosion assessments into damage mechanisms and aid in formulating inspection strategies to address these issues.
Document the root causes of failures and communicate findings across the organization.
Develop asset maintenance strategies and plans.
Provide recommendations for enhancing the performance of fixed equipment assets.
Utilize life cycle value analysis for repair versus replacement decisions.
Close reliability gaps through the establishment and execution of reliability-centered maintenance principles and programs.

Enhance preventive maintenance and inspection tasks, identify deficiencies, create corrective action plans, drive implementation, and assess improvements.

Collaborate with inspection teams and fixed equipment engineers to formulate a multi-year reliability enhancement plan.
Deliver training to operational staff and craft personnel.
Document the financial benefits of implemented reliability enhancements and upgrades.
Contribute to reliability improvement teams, fulfill assigned tasks, and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to boost on-stream availability.
Review and develop program policies, standards, and procedures.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the proactive identification and resolution of reliability challenges.
Engage in the management of change processes.
Exhibit a personal attitude and behavior that fosters a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (mandatory). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed equipment within the petrochemical sector.

In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME Section VIII, API 510 & 570, ANSI, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with industry standards, recommended practices, and regulatory considerations regarding the mechanical integrity of fixed equipment. Understanding of reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.

Knowledge of RAGAGEP engineering practices and principles.
Familiarity with inspection technologies and non-destructive testing (NDT) processes.

Basic knowledge of Maximo or alternative computerized maintenance management systems (such as SAP).
