We are currently looking for an Aerospace Structural Integrity Engineer to become a vital part of our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer specialized knowledge in structural integrity processes applicable to the design, development, testing, evaluation, and processing of aerospace components.
  • Provide guidance on resolving structural integrity-related challenges.
  • Engage in technical assessments as necessary.
  • Contribute to identifying anomalies and serve as a technical authority, offering engineering insights for resolving associated issues.
  • Assess compliance of flight components with established structural integrity standards.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
This position is available at various levels.

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering is typically required, along with relevant experience. Licensure and certification may be necessary.
  • Proficient in utilizing both verbal and written communication to convey technical concepts and recommendations to individuals at all levels of technical and managerial expertise.
  • Ability to operate effectively, logically, and swiftly in dynamic environments characterized by rapid changes, conflicting requirements, and occasional pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of Structural Integrity Classification and experience, along with evidence of support for NASA programs in this domain.
  • In-depth understanding of structural integrity as it pertains to the implementation of requirements on spaceflight components, including awareness of risks associated with Structural Classifications.
  • Familiarity with NASA standards and requirements for structural integrity processes.
  • General knowledge of engineering materials and a foundational understanding of engineering systems and Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) techniques.
  • Comprehension of Failure Analysis.
  • Familiarity with conventional aerospace metallic materials and manufacturing processes that may introduce flaws affecting structural properties.
  • Knowledge of Composite Materials.
