Your Role and Impact:

Liberty Home Guard is recognized as the leading and fastest-growing provider of home warranty services in the nation. We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to take charge of our financial data management and compliance. This role involves maintaining precise records of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial transactions and reconciliations.

The Financial Operations Manager will execute daily accounting responsibilities, including monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and processing payments and adjustments. Collaboration with our CPAs is essential to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

The ideal candidate will excel in prioritizing tasks and working independently. A self-driven and reliable individual is essential for this role.

  • Ensure accurate financial transaction records by establishing accounts and posting transactions while adhering to legal compliance.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations by reviewing requirements, enforcing compliance, filing necessary reports, and advising management on actions needed.
  • Develop and implement systems for tracking financial transactions by creating a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Maintain subsidiary accounts through verification, allocation, and posting of transactions.
  • Oversee the general ledger by transferring summaries from subsidiary accounts.
  • Balance the general ledger by preparing trial balances and reconciling entries.
  • Generate financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP, or other accounting frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of prior audit experience.

  • Salary range: $75,000-$90,000 annually.
