Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the supervision of building personnel, including administrative staff, and the financial performance of assigned properties.

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Leading the Assistant Operations Manager and site-specific administrative teams.
  • Implementing operational policies and procedures tailored to maximize employee performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and managing leasing operations effectively.
  • Overseeing payroll processes and monitoring employee attendance.
  • Coordinating vendor procurement and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Managing resident accounts receivable and legal processes related to tenant arrears.
  • Conducting property inspections and ensuring maintenance staff meet performance standards.
  • Collaborating with development teams on strategic initiatives and project management.
  • Engaging with community affairs to incorporate resident feedback into property operations.
Qualifications

Education:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a combination of relevant experience and certifications.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 12 years in property management operations, or 17 years in a direct management role at similar properties without a degree.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi software.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in managing affordable housing and market-rate properties.
  • Exceptional leadership and multitasking abilities.
  • Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is required.
Work Environment

This position primarily involves sedentary work, with occasional physical exertion required. The role may involve exposure to various environmental conditions and noise levels.
