Our facility provides a supportive environment for 22 clients, offering personalized care and specialized treatment. Located in a beautifully remodeled historic mansion, our center boasts breathtaking views that contribute to a healing atmosphere.

Available Positions:

  • Per Diem: Night Shifts (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

Qualified candidates must possess a current, valid nursing license. LVNs are responsible for overseeing clients in detox and ensuring compliance with all medical protocols and documentation. Candidates should be prepared to undergo drug screening, TB testing, and a physical examination.
  • Supervise both licensed and non-licensed personnel in daily patient care activities
  • Review and prepare medical records and nursing notes to assess residents' physical and emotional well-being
  • Administer nursing care as per physician directives, care plans, and established standards
  • Prepare and manage patient-administered medications according to physician orders and facility policies
  • Maintain accurate charting, record-keeping, and care plans in line with established procedures
  • Deliver exceptional individualized care to residents

Qualifications:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and email; experience with EMR systems is preferred
  • Able to collaborate with professionals from various backgrounds
  • Commitment to the principles of recovery and continuity of care
  • Professional demeanor with a strong customer service orientation

Sierra Health and Wellness Centers is a leading network in California, providing behavioral health and rehabilitation services for adults and families dealing with addiction to substances such as alcohol, opiates, and amphetamines.
