Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive growth of our Market Making and Liquidity Services business. As Head of Market Making, you will develop and execute growth strategies, nurture external crypto projects and partners, and interface with our Executives, Product, and Trading teams globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the Market Making Business by acquiring new counterparties, developing existing relationships, and executing agreements.
  • Develop new relationships with high-profile crypto projects, crypto VCs, institutional investors, and other parties in the crypto ecosystem.
  • Focus on strategic growth, leading brand awareness in key markets globally, and driving business results.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to launch token projects and implement market making strategies.
  • Deepen existing relationships with global centralized exchanges and explore new partnership opportunities in the Defi space.
  • Stay up-to-date on key launches, fundraises, and news in the crypto ecosystem and identify partnership and business development opportunities.
  • Coach future Business Development Associates and lead by example.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of token ecosystems and protocols.
  • Expertise in TradeFi and Crypto market making through relevant experience as a market maker or sales/bd for a market making firm.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a Trading Prop Shop, Market-maker, Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, or Brokerage Environment.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Crypto, either at a Market-maker, Crypto VC, Liquid Fund, Exchange, or Institutional shop.
  • Experience in business development or client-facing roles (institutional sales, asset management, investment banking, etc.).
  • Experience valuing Token projects and Tokenomics through angel or VC investing, or at a liquid token fund.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience delivering business results and achieving quota.
Compensation

Base pay for this role is expected to be between $160,000 - $210,000 USD. This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance-linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
