We are currently in search of a meticulous and conscientious Facility Sanitation Specialist to enhance our operations.

In this position, you will be entrusted with upholding rigorous cleanliness and sanitation protocols across our greenhouse environment. Your contributions will be essential in guaranteeing that all facility areas, including machinery, surfaces, and production zones, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to adhere to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement sanitation protocols to effectively clean and disinfect machinery, surfaces, and production zones
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards (SQF/HACCP)
  • Properly manage and store cleaning agents
  • Oversee and maintain the inventory of sanitation supplies
  • Conduct regular inspections to detect sanitation concerns and communicate them to relevant personnel
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary
  • Support with additional tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a sanitation or cleaning role is preferred
  • Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations
  • Ability to follow directives and work autonomously
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to cleanliness
  • Physical endurance to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting
  • Effective communication skills and capability to collaborate within a team
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Basic understanding of safe usage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Availability to work afternoon/evening shifts
