We are currently seeking a Culinary Specialist to enhance our team at the Masterpiece Cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a diverse range of dishes that meet our menu and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food preparation areas at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding ingredient orders to ensure freshness and availability.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate cooking schedules and ensure timely delivery of food orders.
  • Assist with menu planning and development as required.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in food preparation is preferred.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.).
  • Ability to adhere to all sanitation procedures.
  • Experience in managing food services in a healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
  • Capability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • Comfortable working around hot surfaces.
