We are currently in search of a meticulous and dedicated Sanitation Worker to uphold our cleanliness standards within our greenhouse facility.

As a key member of our operations, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that sanitation and cleanliness protocols are rigorously followed across the facility. This includes the thorough cleaning and sanitization of all equipment, surfaces, and production areas to adhere to stringent food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement sanitation protocols to effectively clean and disinfect all areas, including equipment and production zones.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and standards such as SQF and HACCP.
  • Properly handle and store cleaning agents and chemicals.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and materials.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify sanitation concerns and communicate them to management.
  • Follow safety guidelines and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sanitation or janitorial roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with sanitation methods and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Physical endurance to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and lifting.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Basic understanding of safe cleaning equipment and chemical usage.
  • Availability to work afternoon or evening shifts.
