LMI is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Program/Portfolio Manager. This individual will play a critical role in supporting efforts for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government program, technical, and contract leads.
  • Project Management
    • Manage complex projects, ensuring goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined, and the appropriate resources are allocated.
    • Monitor team performance to ensure projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards.
  • Team Leadership
    • Foster positive working relationships with team members, client personnel, and leadership counterparts.
    • Prioritize tasks, set deadlines, and assign resources to each project.
  • Financial Management
    • Track cost, schedule, and performance, and prepare documents and develop project-specific policy, procedures, and report status to all levels.
    • Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution.
  • Procurement and Compliance
    • Anticipate and resolve procurement challenges and problems, such as small business set-aside goals, certification requirements, and acquisition strategy.
    • Ensure program compliance with government and corporate policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entities.
  • Business Development
    • Work with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunities.
    • Support business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations.
    Requirements
    • Education and Certification
      • Bachelor's degree and PMP Certification.
    • Experience
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management across public and private sectors and delivering solutions to the federal government.
      • Demonstrated experience managing complex contracts with multiple divisions and stakeholders.
      • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and complex program implementation.
      • Experience delivering strategic planning and execution, data analytics, and project management capabilities in a complex and dynamic program environment.
    • Additional Requirements
      • Ability to pass a DHS background investigation.
