About the Role

Audacy is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and growing new business relationships with clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact businesses to sell advertising solutions, including radio, sponsorship, streaming audio, and podcast advertising
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Aid in the collections process for all campaigns sold
  • Prepare sales proposals and provide the highest-level of customer service
  • Resolve customer problems and communicate with other departments to ensure quality service in executing all aspects of advertising campaigns
  • Attend sales meetings, company trainings, and events
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in media or sales, with a proven track record of developing strategic solutions for clients
  • Ability to develop new business and manage sales, with a strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem
  • Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and desire to win
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as CRM tools and data visualization platforms
