About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Genuine Parts Company. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
