Job Summary

Kemper is seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to customers and agents by answering questions regarding policy status, underwriting guidelines, and policy billing.
  • Communicate policy status, underwriting rules, and billing breakdowns efficiently and effectively, utilizing a thorough understanding of all Kemper systems.
  • Provide information and work to address customer concerns.
  • Escalate and refer matters beyond authority limits based on departmental guidelines or expertise to the appropriate person or area.
  • Stay informed regarding industry information, new product development, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current.
  • Process payments while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Six months of Customer Service experience required.
  • Prior insurance experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
