We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Patient Account Representative to join our team at the University of Oklahoma. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to patients and their families via phone and in-person
- Work with patients to resolve past due balances through various means
- Research and resolve bad addresses
- Filing insurance claims
- Mailing collection letters
- Posting patient payments to accounts
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 24 months recent experience in medical billing, medical collections, or medical billing systems (Allscripts, Epic, or other)
- Proficient skills in data entry, medical account reconciliation, and charge entries
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Office and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work successfully with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and patients
