Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Manager to join our team at US Foods. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities- Foster strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase market share.
- Manage deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service to customers.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
- Identify prospective customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
- Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
- Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
- Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
This role requires frequent travel to existing customers and prospects, with occasional overnight stays. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and drive a motor vehicle is required.
