Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Services: Facilitate the check-in and check-out processes for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Operational Duties: Manage Property Management System (PMS) operations, handle cash and credit card transactions, and operate the switchboard with professionalism.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to front office emergency and security procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Reservations Management: Process reservations for guest rooms and meeting spaces, including group bookings.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks as directed by management, ensuring the front desk area is organized and presentable.
  • Breakfast Services: Set up and maintain the breakfast bar, ensuring cleanliness and replenishment as needed.
  • Sales and Inquiries: Engage with potential guests through phone inquiries and assist with room sales.
  • Professional Standards: Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company uniform policies.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to operate a 10-key calculator.
  • Strong computer and typing skills.
  • Ability to interact courteously with the public and work independently.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with night audit processes and basic accounting principles.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, reaching, and light lifting.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Normal vision and hearing capabilities to respond to emergencies and communicate effectively.
