Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Buffalo Lodging Associates. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Handle cash, credit card information, and goods at the property with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Identify guest needs and provide relevant information about hotel services and amenities to create a comfortable environment.
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take reservations from incoming callers and update the hotel management system accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Computer knowledge, including intranet, Property Management System, Word, and Excel is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
