Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Tharaldson Hospitality. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register and assign rooms to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity, including guest records and sensitive information
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and complaints, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary
  • Answer and route calls as appropriate, taking accurate messages and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Manage cash drawer contents and transactions during shift, maintaining accurate records and balancing cash
  • Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager, promoting our hotel and services to guests
  • Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls, ensuring guests are well-rested and prepared for their day
  • Record pertinent guest information in the pass-on log, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Replenish continental breakfast as needed, maintaining a clean and inviting environment for guests
  • Ensure common areas and lobby are clean and well-maintained, providing a positive first impression for guests
  • Perform laundry functions as directed, maintaining a clean and efficient laundry process
Requirements
  • 0-1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable guest experience
  • Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of integrity, including guest records and sensitive information
  • Ability to answer and route calls as appropriate, taking accurate messages and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • High school degree or equivalent, with a focus on hospitality or a related field
