Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Huntington Park, California. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders by evaluating, diagnosing, developing, and implementing therapy/treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy/treatment programs
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide treatment to adults and children with communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects
  • Collaborate with physicians to recommend and implement appropriate treatments
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs as needed
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and serve as a consultant on speech and language matters
  • Develop and present in-service programs in areas of specialty
  • Perform diagnostic clinical swallowing evaluations and interpret results
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • One year clinical experience in Speech Pathology
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California)
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Basic Life Support required at hire
