Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop therapy/treatment programs for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to adults and children with various communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects.
  • Collaborate with physicians to recommend and implement appropriate treatments.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs as needed.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams and serve as a clinical expert in specialized areas such as pediatric speech and traumatic brain injury.
  • Train CFY candidates and ensure compliance with TJC, federal, state, and local requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Minimum one year clinical experience in dysphasia management and Speech Pathology.
  • American Heart Association approved BLS and National Provider Identifier (NPI) required prior to first day of employment.
  • Current State of California Speech Pathologist license required.
