Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment programs for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders to determine the best course of treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve patients' communication and swallowing skills.
  • Administer diagnostic tests and assessments to identify patients' strengths and weaknesses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • One year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One year of clinical experience in dysphagia management.
