Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Huntington Park, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care to members with communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating, diagnosing, and developing therapy/treatment programs for adults and children with a variety of communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairments, and neurological defects.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy/treatment programs
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide treatment to adults and children
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Provide in-service training to healthcare staff and supervise Speech Pathology Assistants
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of speech therapy and attend professional seminars and workshops
Requirements:
  • One (1) year clinical experience in Speech Language Pathology or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California)
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire
  • Basic Life Support required at hire
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year clinical experience in dysphagia management
