Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Huntington Park, California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve or restore communicative facility
  • Administer diagnostic tests and provide treatment to adults and children with various communication disorders, voice and swallowing impairment, and neurological defects
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide in-service training and supervision to Speech Pathology Assistants
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • One year of clinical experience in dysphasia management and Speech Pathology
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) and Basic Life Support certification
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and utilize theories, principles, practices, techniques, and methods of Speech Therapy
