Job Summary

Soleo Health Inc is seeking a highly skilled Regional Nurse Manager to oversee the administration of nursing services within our region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients, including patient assessment, clinical and environmental care, patient and caregiver teaching, development and revision of the plan of care, skilled nursing care, implementation of physician orders, monitoring of patient response, response to emergency patient needs, and psychosocial support.
  • Selects, trains, develops, and motivates a highly skilled professional nursing and allied staff, ensuring that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, participate in continuing education, receive counseling, and are evaluated in a timely manner.
  • Oversees the receipt, evaluation, acceptance, and execution of the initial patient intake process to ensure that patient verification, assessment, teaching, and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occur in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Assures that all patient-related documentation and clinical and departmental reports are accurately completed, submitted, and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process.
  • Participates in planning, decision-making, and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Assists in the management of a department budget using a modified primary nursing model and assures that other department functions proceed without interruption.
  • Secures and maintains all applicable internal, professional, local, state, federal, and voluntary licensures, certifications, accreditations, and employment requirements as required of staff and department.
  • Works closely with the Regional Business Leader, VP of Nursing, and Area Vice President to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence.
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  • Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations, or standards of conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports, including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Current RN Licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and/or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care.
  • Minimum 5 years of pediatric nursing experience ideal.
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill, and knowledge of all types of IV lines.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, proven ability to manage, train, and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projects.
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies.
  • Knowledge of state-licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicable.
  • Ability to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Advanced certification a plus (i.e., CRNI, IgCN).
