Overview:
The Personal Banker II serves as a financial intermediary for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery. The key role involves establishing, managing, and nurturing significant relationships with clients, leveraging financial expertise to present, clarify, and market financial offerings and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes new client relationships through regular engagement and proactive outreach.
- Continuously seeks avenues to enhance sales initiatives, branch profitability, and deposit growth.
- Collaborates with the Branch Retail Manager to boost sales and fulfill all client requirements.
- Facilitates a welcoming environment, guiding clients to the appropriate team member based on their needs and promoting product utilization when necessary.
- Encourages teamwork within the branch to ensure a positive client experience by actively participating in branch communications and meetings.
- Identifies and proposes solutions to address client issues, resolving more complex inquiries by utilizing bank resources.
- Recognizes clients' financial needs and presents suitable product and service options in collaboration with internal team members.
- Proactively informs clients about the effective use of available products.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Customer Privacy, and Information Security.
- Demonstrates proficiency in bank offerings such as online banking, bill payment, mobile banking, and other customer services.
- Develops new client relationships and expands existing ones by identifying opportunities and applying cross-selling techniques to meet personal and branch objectives.
- Takes responsibility for the client experience, including account openings and resolving service issues through follow-up.
- Builds partnerships with back-office support to enhance sales and ensure all client needs are addressed.
- Exhibits trustworthiness, professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in interactions with clients and colleagues.
- May assist at various branches as required.
- Commitment to uphold the bank's core values.
- Ability to identify and report risks that may affect the bank's reputation, safety, security, or financial success.
- Thorough understanding of the bank's products and services.
- Proficient in business offerings.
- Exemplary attitude towards both internal and external clients.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly to clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Competent computer skills.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred 1 year of experience in banking.
