Job Overview

Furthermore, the collections team serves as a crucial connection between the finance department and our customers, helping to maintain a healthy cash flow by minimizing overdue accounts while fostering positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients in a professional and compassionate manner to address overdue accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Utilize collection software to track accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
  • Conduct basic account reconciliations: Collaborate with other departments to resolve disputes and discrepancies related to billing, invoices, and payments.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Keep accurate and updated records of customer interactions and collection efforts.
  • This position will involve managing accounts for a segment of our West Coast customer base.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred).
  • Prior experience in credit and collections, accounts receivable, or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, credit analysis, and financial operations is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.
  • Strong skills in problem identification and resolution.
