Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Department Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, supervising a team of hourly associates, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth in the Bakery department by implementing effective sales strategies and promoting our products to customers.
  • Supervise a team of hourly associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our products and services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Bakery department, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Prepare and merchandise Bakery products, including baking, decorating, and displaying products in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and achieving sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, associates, and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage range of $24.00 to $32.00.
  • Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
