Position Purpose:

The Production Operator will be responsible for performing all positions in the product area to relieve personnel for breaks and lunches. This includes assuming all job description duties during break/lunch, keeping product staged for counting and loading to trailer, and completing accurate and legible documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all operations of production and wrapping.
  • Relieve all positions within the department for breaks and lunches as required.
  • Follow responsibilities listed for positions relieved.
  • Ensure stacker is supplied with enough cardboard boxes and necessary supplies at all times.
  • Ensure that our product meets the company's standards and specifications.
  • Complete accurate and legible documentation.
  • Understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
  • Maintain Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements daily.
  • Understand and comply with the company Allergen and HACCP policies.
  • Communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety or Equipment concerns.
  • Perform all other assigned tasks as directed by the Lead/Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Years of Experience – Minimum 1 year in manufacturing or food environment.
  • Communication Skills – Clear and concise. Ability to read and write accurate and legible documentation.

Shift: 2nd

Hourly Rate: $21.50-$23.00

The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed in this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
