Job Summary:

The Hospitality Ambassador is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless experience for our guests. This role requires strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Manage Staff: Oversee the daily operations of the lounge, including scheduling, training, and managing staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Manage Budget and Inventory: Responsible for managing the lounge's budget and inventory, ensuring that all expenses are within budget and that inventory levels are maintained.
  • Train and Supervise Alcoholic Beverage Service: Train and supervise staff on the service of alcoholic beverages, ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with Catering Events: Assist with the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standard.
  • Establish Beverage Program and Seasonal Specials: Develop and implement a beverage program and seasonal specials, ensuring that all offerings are of the highest quality and meet customer demand.
  • Purchase Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages: Responsible for purchasing all beverages, ensuring that all products are of the highest quality and meet customer demand.
  • Maintain Positive Working Relationships: Maintain positive working relationships with staff, management, and clients, ensuring that all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • Work with Vendors: Work with vendors to ensure that all products and services meet the highest standards and are delivered on time.
  • Oversee Financial Aspects: Oversee the financial aspects of the lounge, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience Managing Others: Proven experience in managing others, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact successfully with a variety of people.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, with the ability to use software applications and systems to manage operations.
  • Ability to Work Varied Hours: Ability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • College Degree: College degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality or business.
    • Management Experience: Proven management experience, particularly in the hospitality industry.
    • Certification in Service Training: Certification in service training, such as the National Bar & Restaurant Management Association.
    • Knowledge of State and Local Laws: Knowledge of state and local laws, including those related to the service of alcoholic beverages.
