Retail Administrative Coordinator

As a Retail Administrative Coordinator at Marshalls, you will play a vital role in supporting store management in the execution of store-related administrative functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store. You will be a role model for outstanding customer service, creating a positive internal and external customer experience.
- Develop and maintain a culture of honesty and integrity, ensuring confidentiality and promoting a positive work environment.
- Take an active role in the hiring process, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and onboarding new associates.
- Maintain associate personnel files, perform daily cash office functions, and maintain cash office standards.
- Support the Operations Assistant Store Manager with scheduling, expense account monitoring, supply inventory, and requisition.
- Maintain proper associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience, supporting and responding to coverage needs throughout the store.
- Ensure the store team executes tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates when setting and addressing priorities, providing progress updates.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, partnering with management on associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs, supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
- Able to train others.
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
