Job Overview

The Walmart Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business operations and supporting consumer-centric initiatives. This individual will be responsible for developing key processes and standard operating procedures to drive sales through strategic customer management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure seamless business operations and customer management
  • Assess workload planning and team performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive the process to set customer requirements and expectations, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions
  • Confirm vendor guides for new customer onboarding and ongoing compliance
  • Monitor and communicate across the organization to ensure timely order tracking and management
  • Ensure accurate pricing updates in systems and communicate with account stakeholders for alignment
  • Coordinate changes in sourcing or factories, updating systems and pricing as needed
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry contacts to identify key opportunities for improvement and industry trends
  • Attend Walmart meetings, taking ownership of recaps and follow-ups
  • Manage sample inventory and coordination
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of management experience in sales, customer service, operations, logistics, and/or account coordination
  • Experience with Retail Link and Luminate
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proven track record of multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different levels and departments
  • Pro-active self-starter, disciplined, solution-oriented, with a strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office, EDI, ERP systems, and NetSuite
  • Bachelor's degree or secondary degree
