Position Overview: The User Experience Architect plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall User Experience for clients. This individual is dedicated to making the customer journey more intuitive, accessible, and dependable. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and developers, this role is essential in crafting comprehensive customer experience solutions tailored for responsive web design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with various business units and external customer groups to identify and articulate UX enhancements for the digital presence.
  • Participate in Agile teams, advocating for user needs while collaborating with Product Managers to develop features that resonate with user requirements.
  • Produce sketches, journey maps, storyboards, user flows, and other design artifacts to effectively convey interaction and application design concepts.
  • Prepare detailed UX documentation, including navigational flows, clickable prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, use cases, and task flows for the development team.
  • Design the user experience and information architecture for digital platforms, defining functionality, navigation, and interaction models through wireframes, site maps, use cases, and functional requirements.
  • Create both low and high-fidelity prototypes to illustrate micro-interactions.
  • Document and articulate complex, data-driven experiences with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Lead brainstorming and sketching sessions with product teams to foster innovative ideas.
  • Collaborate with fellow UX team members and stakeholders to design solutions that align with user and business needs while considering technical constraints.
  • Solicit and provide UX feedback among peers to enhance design quality.
  • Engage in concept testing, usability testing, and analytics to better understand the needs, tasks, and goals of target audiences.
  • Gather and implement UX feedback from customers and end-users, managing updates to UX deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and advocate for design guidelines, best practices, and standards within the team.
  • Mentor and guide team members in developing superior UX designs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in user experience architecture (Information Architecture).
  • A portfolio showcasing the ability to create clear and effective wireframes and user experiences.
  • Proven experience in documenting complex, data-driven designs.
  • Extensive experience with tools such as Visio, Sketch, Lunacy, InVision, or similar for user interface documentation.
  • Strong background in developing interface mock-ups and annotated wireframes.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in Agile environments is preferred.
  • Adept at comprehending complex systems and large datasets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and considerations.
  • History of defining application functionality and creating interfaces without explicit business requirements.
  • Solid grasp of information organization principles and user interface design.
  • Prototyping skills are essential.
