Job Description

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit, membership organization, is seeking an iMIS Web Content Developer to join their Information Systems team.

This position will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the iMIS member management database and iMISE RiSE website to ensure it meets the needs of our members.

We are seeking someone with a proven ability to understand membership database platforms, especially iMIS. The person in this role will not only use their technical skills, but also their project management capabilities to manage and oversee our resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • iMIS Upgrades: Manage all projects relating to iMIS upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Framework Development: Develop framework infrastructure to improve and automate web application integration and deployment.
  • Upgrade Planning: Develop short-range and long-range upgrade plans for iMIS staff client and eMembership.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze performance indicators and web traffic, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Site Quality: Safeguard overall site quality, including compliance, browser compatibility, validation, and usability.
  • Third-Party Collaboration: Work and manage third-party iMIS developers to create special DAR-centric functionality.
  • Reporting: Work closely with Database Analyst to develop reports to carry out the organization's objectives.
Requirements:
  • iMIS Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years working directly with iMIS.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science and information technology, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with iMIS RiSE, SQL Database queries, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
  • Soft Skills: Demonstrated project management, communication, and training skills.
  • Non-Profit Experience: Previous work with a membership non-profit preferred.

  • Competitive Salary: The targeted hiring salary is in the mid 70's to mid-90's, with the final determination based upon the candidate's overall experience.
