About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing consultative architectural and operational guidance to our customers, helping them achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored engagements, including Strategic Business Reviews, Security Improvement Programs, guided Well-Architected reviews, Cost Optimization workshops, and proactive services.
  • Consult on architecture, governance, security, and operations, including cost management and other pillars of building on AWS.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges.
  • Represent AWS within a customer's environment, driving discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 2+ years of equivalent work experience or 4+ years of related work experience.
  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience in Information Technology operations.
  • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions.
