A Day in the Life
The Account Executive is tasked with enhancing the utilization of current and emerging AWS services across various business segments.
The ideal candidate will leverage their sales and technical background to proactively engage with clients, utilizing cloud technology to fulfill their business needs.
A successful candidate will cultivate and sustain active relationships with clients and prospects, consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
Account Executives may manage one or multiple territories alongside other account managers. By collaborating on behalf of our clients, we are shaping the future through innovative products, services, and ideas.

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical sales experience in B2B environments, particularly in solution-sales or technology-related fields.
- Proficient understanding of existing and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer).
- Background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS).

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $128,500/year in our lowest geographic market to $212,500/year in our highest geographic market. Compensation is influenced by factors such as market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and other forms of compensation, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
