Job Overview

Position Summary

The Field Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in promoting and selling Graco's offerings to oil and gas operators at various locations including well sites, rig sites, and field offices. This position serves as the key representative of Graco, ensuring that the company is perceived positively by clients through strong interpersonal relationships and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly engage with clients at well sites, rig sites, and field offices to nurture and maintain strong relationships.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs and potential opportunities to Graco management for service and product application.
  • Participate in client-specific meetings and events to support regional sales initiatives.
  • Monitor client perceptions of our services and relay feedback to the Graco organization.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies by identifying market opportunities and observing client activities, service requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate closely with the Graco store to ensure a cohesive sales strategy for customers.
  • Provide comprehensive job preparation, deployment, and follow-up support as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the Graco store to address client issues and ensure the delivery of exceptional service quality.
  • Optimize operational capabilities to fulfill client requirements while maximizing profitability for Graco.
  • Assist in maintaining Graco's leading position in the industry by actively seeking new business opportunities to enhance market share.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and gather client feedback regarding competitive services and products.
  • Relay insights to Graco management regarding competitor presence, technology, and local strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information for Graco's customer database.
  • Engage with store and sales management on revenue forecasting.
  • Ensure that drilling rig activities are monitored and communicated to management as required.
  • Track and analyze market pricing trends.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in oilfield operations, rig work, or fishing tool shop environments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in fostering positive relationships with both colleagues and clients.
  • Must possess a clean driving record and be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test, MVR check, and background screening.
