Job Title: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pico Propane. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers via phone, email, or in-person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services.
  • Forward customer questions and complaints to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
  • Field customer questions and complaints, and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customer problems and concerns.
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in high-volume phone call settings is preferred.
  • Experience in the oil and propane industry is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Service-oriented and the ability to resolve customer grievances.
  • Must have or have the ability to obtain the LP-9 Station Dispensing Certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Proficient with computer skills and the ability to learn and use current and new software.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds as needed in order to safely assist with duties around the plant.
