Position Overview:

The Community Engagement Paraprofessional serves as a vital link between educational institutions and families, enhancing parental involvement in their children's academic journey and reducing absenteeism. This role involves collaboration with social workers, counselors, and school administrators to ensure families are informed about available community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication between the school and families to support student success.
  • Provide instructional support to students from diverse linguistic backgrounds in English.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodations.

Educational Requirements:
