Mile High United Way is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Community Response Coordinator to join our team. As a Community Response Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, while also assisting with community outreach and engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide clients with accurate and timely information and resources via phone, text, chat, and in-person interactions.
- Client Intake and Assessment: Collect and document client information and demographics to assess eligibility for resources and provide referrals.
- Escalated Concerns and Crises: Resolve escalated client concerns and crises in a calm and patient manner.
- Community Outreach: Engage with community partners to support client needs and promote our services.
- Resource Development: Identify and recommend new resources to support clients and community members.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED completion highly preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience working in community engagement, direct service, contact center, or Human Services related field.
- Language: Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and resolve complex problems.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
The Community Response Coordinator will work in a fast-paced office environment, with occasional evening and weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
