Job Title: Problem Manager/Incident Manager

Genesis10 is seeking a skilled Problem Manager/Incident Manager to join our client's team in the financial industry, located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a problem management program to achieve application health, improve SLA compliance, and overall stability.
  • Coordinate problem process within an ITIL framework, tracking milestones for problem root cause and remediation, and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to evaluate existing processes and technologies and execute improvements.
  • Participate in a large-scale project to improve Batch and SLA Management across Application Production Services organizations.
Requirements:
  • Strong track record of problem management in a large volume financial company and environment.
  • Strong Project Management skills.
  • Strong technical skills and diverse background in application infrastructure technologies and batch support.
  • ITIL framework and execution.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record of delivering improvements through successful process execution.
  • Experience managing distributed batch systems.
  • Engineering mindset and passionate about simplifying and improving existing processes and technologies.
