Incident and Escalation Manager (EMEA)

The Incident and Escalation Management team (IEM) operates within Datadog's Global Support Engineering (GSE) organization. We are seeking professionals with expertise in Incident Management and Escalation handling to enhance our team. In this role, you will be responsible for swift incident resolution and stakeholder engagement. Your contributions will also include effective communication, technical involvement, and incident oversight for our international clientele. We prioritize a positive office culture, teamwork, and innovation, functioning as a hybrid workplace to promote work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the resolution of incidents and escalations for clients
  • Develop and implement real-time monitoring solutions for customer infrastructures
  • Assess, manage, and take ownership of client issues
  • Oversee and manage communications during incidents
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead initiatives for operational enhancements
  • Draft and review documentation and training materials
  • Identify and resolve cloud infrastructure challenges
  • Recruit and mentor colleagues and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an IT-related role
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of Cloud computing and scripting languages
  • Proven experience in managing projects and solving problems in dynamic environments
