Position Overview

Salary: $37.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Laser Test Technician to enhance our Production Team by testing and fine-tuning some of the most significant application-specific laser products in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, test, diagnose, and repair electromechanical laser systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Generate technical documentation and reports detailing your work and the challenges addressed.
  • Employ measurement and testing instruments, including oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and network analyzers.
  • Conduct quality work within a cleanroom and ESD-controlled environment.
  • Ensure all lasers adhere to the highest performance and quality standards.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in physics or a related hard science.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a testing or technician role within high-tech manufacturing or a comparable service organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronics, optics, or mechanical manufacturing.
  • Practical experience in assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in building and testing laser systems.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
  • Understanding of RF power supplies.
  • Experience handling optics within an assembly process.
