Job Overview

As a Mechanical Assembly Technician on the Pressure Calibration team, your primary responsibility will be to construct mechanical units and electronic systems, creating subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units utilizing hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and various equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, assemble, rework, and test products at different stages of assembly, from subassemblies to final builds.
  • Interpret technical drawings, method sheet diagrams, and other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures and standard practices.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to accurately follow work instructions and interpret technical documentation.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality control by examining products for defects and variations.
  • Keep detailed records of build specifications, test outcomes, and daily performance metrics.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communicate inventory needs to procurement planners.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team and promote a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, up to 10 hours daily.
  • Occasional lifting of materials not exceeding 40 lbs.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Comfortable using hand tools.
