Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • People Operations
    • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a positive and efficient experience for all new hires.
    • Maintain and enhance performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and career development plans.
    • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
    • Communicate and report on HR metrics and analytics to senior leadership related to the employee engagement cycle, including trends in recruitment, promotions, retention, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
    • Utilize HR analytics to generate insights and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancing organizational effectiveness.
  • Culture Development
    • Develop and implement cultural initiatives that align with the company's mission and values.
    • Foster a culture of inclusivity and growth, ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of the organization.
    • Serve as a role model for the company's mission, values, and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • General
    • Conduct regular reviews of HR processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and compliance with local and federal regulations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in people operations, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the organization.
    • Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Identify training needs and individual performance and coaching needs.
    • Oversee payroll functions and administration of StraighterLine's benefit and 401(k) plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in people analytics, recruitment, or HR operations.
  • SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP; PHR/SPHR certifications or a commensurate combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • Strong understanding of HR portfolio, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement/culture.
  • Developing, scaling, and improving HR processes and programs that are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Managing people platforms (i.e HRIS, performance management platform).
  • Managing HR metrics to drive outcomes including developing data dashboards in Excel for visualization purposes.
  • Managing a suite of employee benefits: health/wellbeing, 401(k), and leave.
  • Processing payroll through Paylocity or equivalent for supervisory and review purposes.
  • Developing and implementing people and cultural strategies, especially in a hybrid-remote work environment.

Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to establish relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
