Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team at Raven Ridge. In this role, you will provide critical support to our attorneys and legal teams in a variety of legal tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research using various resources to gather relevant information for cases and legal matters.
  • Drafting Legal Documents: Assist in drafting a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, agreements, and correspondence under the supervision of attorneys.
  • Case Management: Organize and manage case files, both in electronic and physical formats, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all documents are properly filed and organized.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, schedule appointments, and assist with any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Court Filings and Procedures: Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents with courts and administrative agencies, as well as coordinating hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Trial Preparation: Provide support to attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing evidence, drafting witness lists, preparing trial exhibits, and assisting with trial logistics.
  • Legal Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks to support the legal team, such as managing attorney calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure that all legal documents and activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and procedural requirements, and stay up to date with changes in legal guidelines and standards.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of legal assistant experience or equivalent skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Highest standard of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong technical capability and intermediate skills in using MS Office Tools.
Compensation:

$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
