We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Title Paralegal to join our team at Synectics. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing substantive legal work supporting our Real Estate and Development Practice Group, as well as other firm practice groups' real estate needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform full title searches and title updates, issue reports, title commitments, proforma policies, and prepare preliminary drafts of conveyancing documents and closing documents for review by an attorney.
  • Prepare settlement statements and real estate transfer tax forms, as well as other tasks as assigned.
  • Familiarity with NH Title Examination Standards and MA REBA/Real Estate Bar Association for MA Standards is a plus.
  • Present professionally, display a positive attitude, and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to occasionally come in early or stay late.
  • Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency are required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of experience working as a Real Estate Paralegal, strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite and related legal programs, are required.
  • 5+ years of title experience, paralegal certification, and producer title license, strongly preferred.
  • Continuing legal education is expected.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently, and strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative are required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting and interact directly with clients is essential.
