The Broadcasting Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily management of domestic television partnerships, scheduling, and broadcasting requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and nurture daily relationships with partner programming, production, marketing, sales, and communications teams.
  • Oversee the approval and execution of weekly partner requests primarily related to programming and production.
  • Facilitate and lead weekly meetings with Competition, venues, and broadcast partners to coordinate upcoming events and logistics.
  • Support partner needs during media days, production, and marketing initiatives.
  • Enhance affiliate relationships and integrate with marketing strategies and venues.
  • Disseminate weekly event logistics and materials to broadcast production teams.
  • Evaluate commercial formats and collaborate with networks to optimize viewing experiences.
  • Serve as the on-site Broadcasting liaison for select events.
  • Create and refine presentation materials and documents using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe, and other relevant software.
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned to support broadcast partnerships and AEG's growth objectives.
  • Travel is required, approximately 25%, including weekends.
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in sports league or television/broadcasting; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.
  • Proficient in all company-provided hardware and software, including Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
