Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of food quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Supervise and manage all kitchen operations to optimize profits, control food costs, and increase sales through food quality, speed of service, and accurate food preparation.
  • Staff Management: Manage daily operations, including decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, and planning, while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
  • Manpower Planning: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date manpower plan, prepare schedules, and ensure that areas of responsibility are staffed properly for all shifts.
  • Team Development: Staff, train, and develop hourly team members through ongoing feedback, establishment of performance expectations, and regular performance reviews.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner.
  • Food Quality: Ensure food quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products.
  • Communication: Foster open communication with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Leadership: In the absence of the General Manager, oversee the entire restaurant operation as acting Manager on Duty.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Education: College coursework with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a restaurant manager with extensive knowledge of restaurant operations preferred.
  • Skills: Prior experience in purchasing and production, and previous kitchen experience preferred.
