Position Overview

Brookline College is seeking a dedicated Admissions Director to lead our Admissions team.

This role is crucial in ensuring that the Admissions department achieves established objectives and performance benchmarks for the ongoing success of our institution. The Admissions Director will oversee staffing levels, manage lead flow, and collaborate with the Marketing team to implement local marketing strategies. A significant on-site presence at partner facilities is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison with partners, participating in calls to discuss admissions activities and recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline the enrollment process for partner candidates while ensuring compliance.
  • Work alongside campus leadership to guarantee a satisfactory enrollment experience for partner candidates.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise Admissions Representatives and support staff, fostering a motivated team environment.
  • Conduct biweekly evaluations of phone calls and monthly assessments of interviews for each Admissions Representative. Perform quarterly Professional Standards evaluations and annual performance reviews.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching by observing interviews and reviewing recorded calls to enhance performance.
  • Ensure inbound lead coverage by managing staffing schedules effectively.
  • Monitor public reviews and mystery shopping to maintain service quality.
  • Track and report progress towards enrollment goals.
  • Identify and mentor potential leaders within the Admissions team for future leadership roles.
  • Collaborate with campus management to allocate resources effectively to meet admissions targets.
  • Engage with the Financial Aid department to facilitate meetings that enhance customer service and improve interview-to-enrollment ratios.
  • Assess admissions policies and procedures in partnership with the Regional Director of Admissions to ensure alignment with institutional goals.
  • Organize partner-focused events such as recruitment fairs and orientations.
  • Conduct daily standups and weekly team meetings to foster team unity and review progress towards objectives.
  • Communicate with prospective students and applicants to provide information regarding admissions standards.
  • Contribute to budget planning, training sessions, and campus facilities management.
  • Ensure adherence to professional dress codes during on-site partner events and virtual meetings.
  • Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Exhibit high integrity and strong business acumen, including numerical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate reliability and professionalism in both virtual and in-person interactions.
  • Guide candidates throughout the admissions process.
  • Exhibit high energy and commitment as a team player with exceptional leadership skills; capable of training and developing team members.
  • Possess familiarity with CRM systems, CampusVue, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Exhibit superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
  • A proven track record in admissions with a minimum of four years of direct enrollment management experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enrollment management practices.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and implementation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, upholding respect and ethics.
