We are seeking a Head of Marketing and Business Growth who is driven and possesses a robust background in healthcare marketing. This role will oversee the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive marketing initiatives, including public relations, marketing strategies, and sales efforts, aimed at achieving optimal occupancy levels for our facilities. Additionally, this position will serve as the representative of ClearSky Health to local healthcare providers and will work to foster positive public relations and enhance our clinical offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, implement, assess, and refine cohesive strategic marketing and sales plans informed by data, trends, and market demands.
  • Identify potential collaborations and growth avenues within the healthcare sector, while enhancing departmental efficiency.
  • Lead and develop specific goals for clinical liaison teams, monitoring outcomes related to sales calls, referrals, admissions, and outpatient visits.
  • Ensure the liaison team effectively tracks sales activities, maintains comprehensive client profiles, formulates monthly sales strategies, and adheres to the organization's standards of conduct.
  • Meet budgeted targets for average daily census (ADC) and admissions.
  • Ensure compliance with competency standards for clinical liaisons.
  • Collaborate with management to negotiate contracts with payors to drive volume.
  • Coordinate all marketing and public relations efforts, including participation in conferences, seminars, advertising, media relations, and government engagement.
  • Work alongside clinical leadership to develop and promote innovative programs and services.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector is required.
  • At least three years of experience in hospital sales and marketing is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or marketing is preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.

Licenses, Certifications, and Documentation:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and insurability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of patient demographics, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement processes that influence hospital operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to devise and implement effective strategic sales plans.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, and drive for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and exert up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to hear overhead announcements.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboards.
  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
